Cisco Connect App does not work on Lion. Even when you download the latest software from Cisco's site, it still does not. So the best way to configure is Manual. Which used to be the default mode up until last year anyways.
So connect over a wire, http://192.168.1.1, leave the username blank and password is admin. And there you go.
